About Dr Tooba Cheema
Speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu
Tooba graduated from Shifa college of Medicine, Pakistan, in 2009, and completed her internship and initial resident years in Pakistan. After moving to Australia, she passed her AMC written and clinical exams, and continued her training mainly in Emergency Medicine, and Medical sub specialities at Sutherland and St George hospital in Sydney.
She also has a Diploma in child health – DCH/IPPC from University of Sydney,Children’s hospital at Westmead and is confident in both Adult and Paediatric health.
Her approach to her patients is friendly and holistic, and hence she manages physical health issues and offers counselling and support for mental health problems also.
Special interests include Women’s health, mental health and every patient looking to improve their well being under a compassionate doctor’s care.
Dr Tooba looks forward to seeing patients from all cultural and social backgrounds- an added advantage is that, in addition to English, she is also fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
