Practice Policies

In order to be eligible for a Telehealth consultation you must have attended our clinic in the last 12 months.

Telehealth is for the following health care needs:

  • Repeat scripts
  • Repeat referrals
  • Review and discussion of results

For any other reason, please book for a consultation with your doctor

The practice has an automatic reminder system in place, so you will be contacted either by phone or mail if you are due for a follow-up appointment or test. To opt out of this system, simply inform the receptionist at your next visit.

Doctors are not interrupted during consultations except for in emergencies. If you have any medical issues you wish to discuss with your doctor, contact us to schedule an appointment.

Pathology and radiology results are reviewed by doctors as soon as they arrive and are marked either normal or abnormal. When contacting the office for results, receptionists are not authorised to access your results, but will inform you if an abnormal result has been flagged to schedule a follow-up consultation.

If we receive abnormal test results, you will be sent two reminders. Please ensure you respond to your recall letter, and provide us with your current address and contact numbers in case of emergencies.

We require consultations for all referrals to specialist services as relevant clinical information and a medical history is needed. We do not backdate referrals.
